ETHICIST ruled tonight

It was among their best.  Started on-time (what the heck?! NOT METAL!!! ;) and was the three-person lineup.  Haven't seen them do that in awhile.  Their "reverb-as-a-weapon" (as I call it) post-black attack was in full effect.  It was incredible and something I really needed after having such a difficult week.  Mucho grande thanks to everyone involved.  I had to leave after their set and the walk back to a bus stop was incredibly painful even with my cane, but it was totally worth it.  Listened to some Christian worship music when I came back and relaxed in my recliner with my cat.

And yes, in case you didn't know, I am a Christian.  Converted to Catholicism a couple years ago out of Evangelical Christianity.  Was an athiest-in-denial until age fourteen.  Not too concerned with an afterlife; more concerned with what's going on in my life now.  Found contentment through it, but nowhere else.  Why else would I be one?  Anyhow, given that I'm running a site like this and not preaching about my faith (this explanation is probably the only time it will come up and that's because it's relevant to the post) or trying to coerce you into it, and having progressive political views that come up in posts, you can draw your own conclusions about me and this site.  And no, I'm not a part of the Christian Right.  I'm very opposed to Christofascism and any other form of theocracy.

Anyhow, check out Ethicist's latest release, II, here:

  1. Shit! I didn't know they had a gig last night. I saw them open for Wolvhammer and they were rad.
