Aaaaaaaaaaaand we're back!!!!!!

Hissing Tiles - Aces Read Me to Sleep This album inspired me to write music again, despite being in severe pain a lot of the time.  It's noise rock from Cincinnati.  The band was formerly named Gazer, but they changed it because of the obvious negative connotations that has.  In my opinion, that was a good move and I like their new name a lot.  Also, I think it bears mentioning that these guys have/had members of bands ranging from TILL PLAINS to SWIM TEAM to WHITE WALLS and even TWEENS.  But having been in good bands doesn't make a new one good.  So what about this album?  Well, their extremely tight noise rock DOESN'T jack the JESUS LIZARD like so many of their contemporaries.  And yes, I'll admit that I'm still becoming familiar with bands on AmRep and whatnot, but their sound is unique to me.  They are their own band, they are damned good, and they sound even better live.  Do yourself a favor and get this ahead of the physical rel...
